Who gets the $1400 stimulus check?

After months of negotiations the $1,400 stimulus check has been approved and ready to go! In this article, we will give you the basic fact of the stimulus check.

Who is eligible for the third stimulus check?

If you are a: 

  1. U.S Citizen, U.S. resident alien.
  2. Not a dependent on someone else’s tax returns. 
  3. Makeunder $75,000 as a SINGLE Individual.
  4. Makeunder $150,000 if married and filing jointly 
  5. Make Under $112,500 if filing as head of household. 

Your check eligibility will depend on your filing status and how you file your tax returns. Meaning as single, married, and filing jointly, or head of household). 

How is the IRS going to Determine my eligibility?

The IRS is going to use your most recent tax returns of 2019-2020, this means if you have not filed your 2020 tax returns; the IRS will use your 2019 to determine what you qualified for. If you did NOT file your tax returns for any of these years; you may register for the first Economic Impact Payment using the special Non-Filers portal last year.

Social security recipients can expect to receive their third stimulus check just like they should have received the last two.

Anyone filing as a single on their tax returns can expect to get the $1,400.00. Married couples filing their tax return jointly can expect to get $2,800 plus,$1,400.00 for every dependent on their tax returns.
